Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Designer Engineer
Location: Riverside, CA.
Pay Rate: $30/hour - Temp to Hire position
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Arrow Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Designer Engineer to join a manufacturing team in Riverside, CA. In this role, youll assist in creating accurate mechanical drawings, Bills of Materials, and engineering documentation. If you're detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and ready to grow your skills, we want to hear from you!
Note: Candidates will be required to complete an AutoCAD skills test as part of the interview process.
Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
Experience with SolidWorks is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Intern, recent graduate or currently enrolled for a Bachelors degree or 1-2 years related experience/training
Ability to apply or learn advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
Key Responsibilities
Create and revise detail and assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, and Operation Steps in accordance with company standards
Draft scale drawings of parts and assemblies, clearly defining contours and dimensions for manufacturing
Compare part drawings against customer/government drawings or physical samples to verify accuracy and form
Make necessary revisions to existing drawings, test procedures, operation steps, and engineering documentation under the direction of the Mechanical Engineer
Operate computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software to develop accurate engineering drawings
